Throughout ancient times Hot-Peppers were relied on for its 'curative' and 'culinary' properties. In 1987, Founder (Dounne Alexander) introduced the 'original ancient hot Herbal Pepper Sauces' into prestigious department stores Harrods & Fortnum and Mason; plus initiated the 'first' health awareness campaign, revealing (for the first time) the health enhancing benefits of 'hot peppers & spicy foods'. This was the catalyst behind revolutionizing Western thinking and is now recognized by doctors, scientists and nutritionists, as an effective remedy in assisting the recovery of almost every human ailment. Professor Irwin Ziment (a leading British medical authority in respiratory disorders) confirmed that - "the entire Chemical Industry of Cough medicines and expectorant drugs was established because of the ancient folklore medicinal knowledge of the 'Hot Pepper'. He further recommends; "everyone should eat a 'hot spicy meal' once a day or at least 3 times a week, as a preventative measure. It is essential for the British diet; especially for people with heart & lung problems, smokers or those exposed to pollution". The Hot-Peppers referred to are Capsicums, (not Black or White Peppercorns).
